Question 256004: how to prove cscx-sinx=cosx cotx
Answer by drk(1908) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
cscx-sinx=cosx cotx
we will turn the left into the right
turn everything into sin and cos to get
1/sinx - sinx
get common denominator as
1-sin^2(x)/sinx)
use identity to get
cos^2(x) / sin(x)
separate to get
cos(x)cot(x)
