Question 243320: please help me:
Find the phase shift of the function y= 3 sin(2x-1):
here are the possible answers:
a)1 right
b)1 left
c)1/2 right

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
To find the phase shift, set the angle equal to zero.

2x-1=0
2x=1
x=1/2

If the value of x is positive, then the shift is to the right. If it is negative, then the phase shift is to the left.
