Question 232312: verify that (sinx+cosx)^2 =1+sin2x. show all of your steps clearly?
Answer by chibisan(131) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
verify (sinx+cosx)^2 =1+sin2x
L.H.S
(sinx+cosx)^2
(sin^2x + 2sinxcosx + cos^2x)
Since sin^2x + cos^2x =1
and 2sinxcosx = sin2x (double angle)
1 + sin2x (verified)
