what is the period of the following function?
y=2tan(3x-pie/2)
1. 1
2. pie
3 pie/3
4. pie/2
5. 2pie/3
-------------
tan(x) has a period of 2pi (all trig functions do)
Functions of 3x have a period 1/3 as long, since their value increases 3 times as fast.
--> 2pi/3 for the period.
PS It's pi, the Greek letter, not pie, the dessert.
