Answer by Earlsdon(6294)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Given:
and:
A = 3
B = 5
Make the appropriate substitutions:
Subtract from both sides.
Subtract the fractions on the left side, the LCD is 15.
Simplify.
Multiply both sides by C.
Multiply both sides by 15.
Finally, divide both sides by 2.

Check:
Substitute A = 3, B = 5, and C = 7.5
Put all of the fractions over the LCD of 15.

OK!
