Question 205921: The question: express theta as a function of X
A right triangle is shown with X as the adjacent and 7 as the hypotanus and a theta symbol at the bottom left angle.
What exactly is this question asking? Do I just need to solve the triangle?
Any help with this would be much appreciated. Thank you so much for your time.

You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The question: express theta as a function of X
A right triangle is shown with X as the adjacent and 7 as the hypotanus and a theta symbol at the bottom left angle.
-----------------
Since cos(theta) = adjacent/hypotenuse
So cos(theta) = x/7
-----------------------------
And finally theta = arccos(x/7)
