This theory has the name "SAS triangle area Theorem"
.
It starts with any triangle given two sides and included angle.
The basis is ,,A = 1/2 b h,,, where h = altitude
.
If we sketch the above triangle,,,sin a = h/side adjacent to angle,,,,
or,,, h=side *sin a
.
if we substitute this into above,,A=1/2 ab*sin angle
.
In this case,, A=1/2*3*7*sin60 = 9.09
.
