To graph that, or any function, make a table of points.
Pick values of x and solve for y. Each pair is a point.
Use Excel or something similar to speed things up.
Plots the points on graph paper, or a grid of some sort.
Connect the points with a line. The more points you have, the smoother the curve will be.
