: Find all solutions to the equation. Use a lower-case n to denote an arbitrary integer; separate your answers with commas; use the most compact expressions possible.
sin(4x - Pi/3) = sqrt(3)/2
Any help is greatly appreciated! I am really struggling just to get these problems started. The answer I received for this one is 2Pi/3 + 3+Pi*n but the system said that answer was wrong.

Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
sin(4x - Pi/3) = sqrt(3)/2
-------------------------
Take the inverse sin of both sides to get:
4x-(pi/3) = pi/3
4x = (2/3)pi
x = (1/6)pi or (5/6)pi
