Question 180100: Find sin E and csc E if tan E =5
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Find sin E and csc E if tan E =5
------------------
Since tan = y/x, y = 5 and x = 1.
Then r = sqrt(5^2+1^2) = sqrt(26)
------------
Therefore sin E = y/r = 5/sqrt(26)
And csc E = r/y = sqrt(26)/5
