The temperature at Blue Ridge was -11 degrees at 700 am The temperature rose 14 degrees by noon, and then dropped 5 degrees by 6:00 pm. Which of the following describes the temperature at 6:00 PM
a. below -11 degree F
b. above 14 degress f
c. above 0 degree f but below 14 degree f
d below 0 degrees f but above -11 degree f
e 0 degree f

Temp at 7:00am=-11 degrees
Temp at noon=-11+14=+3 degrees
Temp at 6:00pm=+3-5=-2 degrees
Sounds like (d) would be the answer
