 The point (0,-1) on the unit circle is rotated 315 degrees counter-clockwise.Determine the coordinates of the new point.
--------------------
(0,-1) is at 270 degrees
Rotating 315 counter-clockwise adds 315 = 225 degrees
where the coordinates are:
x = cos225 = -1/sqrt2
y = sin225 = -1/sqrt2
