Parameter a determines the amplitude of the sine function. The amplitude is half the difference between the minimum and maximum values of the function.

For the red graph, the function values range from -3 to 5, a difference of 8, so its amplitude is 4. For the blue graph, the function values range from -6 to 2, a difference of 8, so its amplitude is 4.

So the a values for the two graphs are the same.

Parameter b determines the frequency/period of the graph. The period can be measured on each graph as the difference in x values from one peak to the next.

For both graphs, the period is 180 degrees, so the b values for the two graphs are the same.

Parameter c determines the horizontal shift. Knowing that the periods are the same, parameter c being the same for both graphs would mean the two functions are always increasing or decreasing at the same times. Since that is not true of these graphs, the value of parameter c is different for the two functions.

Parameter d determines the vertical shift. Knowing that the amplitudes of the two functions are the same, parameter d being the same for both functions would mean the minimum and maximum values of both functions are the same. Since that is not the case, parameter d is different for the two functions.
