Question 118685: how do i graph all of these?
A)the length of time an oven has been turned on and the oven's temperature are related.
B)the angle at which you have to look up to see the sun depends on time of day. make the domain extend for several days.
C)the number of cars in the student parking lot and the time of day are related.

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
A)the length of time an oven has been turned on and the oven's temperature are related.
Let the horizontal axis be "time"; Let the vertical axis be "temperature"
Draw a line that slants upward then levels off at some termperature like
350degrees.
------------------------
B)the angle at which you have to look up to see the sun depends on time of day. make the domain extend for several days.
Let the horizontal axis be time; let the vertical axis be angle
The line rises from 0 up to 90 degrees then down to zero for each day.
At night the line stays at zero.
------------------------
C)the number of cars in the student parking lot and the time of day are related.
Let the horizontal axis be time; Let the vertical be number of cars
the line rises irregularly to some parking area capacity then declines
irregularly till it is empty.
