the line 2x-3y=11 is the same as 3y=2x-11 and y=(2/3)x-11/3. That slope is 2/3, the coefficient of x.
point slope formula y-y1=m(x-x1), m slope and (x1, y1) point. slope is 2/3 since it is parallel to the above line and parallel lines have same slope
so y+5 (remember sign)(2/3)(x-6)
y+5=(2/3)x-4
y=(2/3)x-9
