Question 1155300: Express the equation cot 1 − 2 tan 1 = sin 21 in the form a cos4
1 + b cos2
1 + c = 0, where a, b
and c are constants to be determined.

Express the equation cot 1 − 2 tan 1 = sin 21 in the form a cos4
1 + b cos2
1 + c = 0, where a, b
and c are constants to be determined.
Does cot 1 and tan 1 mean cot(1°) and tan(1°) or cot(1 radian) and tan(1 radian).
Either way, there is no way it can equal to sin(21), so there is no way we can
help you because what's written here makes no sense mathematically. Sorry.
