Question 1138637: find a rational function that has x=-3 and x=1 as vertical asymptotes and(1,0)as an x intercept. please show work
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There is no solution. That's because the point (1,0) that is supposed to
be an x-intercept is on the line x=1 which is supposed to be a vertical
asymptote. There is no way a function can have an x-intercept at a
point on a vertical asymptote.
