Question 1100039: Use the double angle identities to answer:
If cscx=-2sqrt5 and sinx>0, find tan2x

So far, I think I've found Sine, but I can't figure out if its right and I can't figure out how to find cosine. I know the double angle formula for tangent and I'm pretty sure I know how to use it, i'm just having trouble finding what to put there.

The conditions of the problem are self-contradictory. Cosecant is the reciprocal of sine; so given that cosecant is negative, sine can't be positive.
