Your formula is ambiguous and unreadable without using parentheses.

Use parentheses to make your formulas readable and unambiguous.

Use parentheses when you post your formulas to this forum.

It is the  REQUIREMENT  of this site.

Tan 3x = 3 tan X - tan^3 X / 1 - 3 tan^2 x
Why do you people REFUSE to use PARENTHESES so your math problems won't be AMBIGUOUS?
Do you think someone is going to take the time to decipher your problem correctly? Also, shouldn't this math problem come with a QUESTION?
Are we also supposed to be PSYCHIC and determine what the question is?
