" What is the cosine of the angle whose cosecant
is +17%2F15+ ?

The csc = 1/sin , so If +csc+%28theta+%29+=+17%2F15+,
then +sin%28+theta+%29+=+15%2F17+
Find the other side of this triangle
+a%5E2+%2B+15%5E2+=+17%5E2+
+a%5E2+=+289+-+225+
+a%5E2+=+64+
+a+=+8+
So, +cos%28theta%29+=+8%2F17+ and
+cos%28+csc%5E%28-1%29%28+17%2F15+%29%29+=+8%2F17+
