Question 1079624: Tan theta + cot theta=tan theta csc^2 theta
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
rewrite
(sin x/ cos x)+(cos x/sin x)=(sin^2 x+cos^2 x)/(cos x* sin x)=1/(cos x* sin x)
multiply numerator and denominator by sin x
get sin x/(cos x* sin^2 x)= (sin x / cos x)*1/ sin ^2 x=tan x * csc ^2 x.
