1. Is there any good way to memorize the trig value? - YES, it is.

2. How do I prepare for the speed quiz?

    a) The very first you need to do is to imagine the unit circle before your eyes with the radius-vector drawn to the given angle.

    b) Second thing you MUST to know is that the cosine is the x-coordinate of the vector
(in other words, is the projection of the vector to the x-axis),

while the sine is the y-coordinate of the vector
(in other words, is the projection of the vector to the y-axis).

    c) If you know it, then you know that sin(0°) = 0, sin(90°) = 1, sin(180°) = 0, sin(270°) = -1.

You just do not need to memorize it: if you know n.b) - then you know it.

        The same is for cosine.

    d) Third thing you need to know is sin(45°) = cos(45°) = .

Everybody knows it (even the idiots).

If you know it and know n.b), then you know that sin(135°) has the same value, while cos(135°) is just .

    e) cos(30°) = , sin(30°) = .

This is the ONLY thing to memorize.

        Q-o-o !! To not forget ! cos(60°) = , sin(60°) = .

    f) The last thing you must to know is that tan = sin/cos and cotan = cos/sin.

    g) If you are going to be a cosmonaut and/or work for NASA, you can learn that sec = 1/cos and cosec = 1/sin

( but it is just useless knowledge (joke) )

If you will know this minimum of young warrior, you are just ready for a quick quiz !

To speak more seriously, learning of values of trigonometric functions is similar to learning play piano.

The secret it simple: you must exercise again and again to play well !!

Good luck and happy learning / memorizing / quizzing !!
