80 revs/min=80*pi*40 ft/min=10,053.10 ft/min and 167.55 ft/sec
Multiply that by 3600 sec and divide by 5280 ft/mile=114.24 mph

The linear speed in ft/second is  =  = 167.47 ft/sec.


To get it in miles per hour, multiply it by the conversion factor .
