Can someone please help me with this?
I am standing on the roof of my apartment building, 25 feet above the ground. Across the street is an office building that is taller than my apartment building. My line of sight to the base of the office building is 38 degree below horizontal. My line of sight to the top of the office building is 46 degree above horizontal. How tall is the office building?

You're standing on the roof, 25 ft. above ground. Your line of sight to the base of the building across the street is 38� from horizontal. If this is true, then the angle between you looking straight down to the bottom of your building to the bottom of the office building is 90-38, or 52�. If your building is 25' tall, then n/25=tan 52�(where n is the distance from your building to the office building). So:
n=25 tan 52�=32 ft.
Now, we know m/32=tan 46�, where m is the difference in height between the 2 buildings. So m=32 tan 46�, or 33.14 ft. difference. So, the office building is 25 +33.14, 58.14 ft. tall. ☺☺☺☺
