Question 1075382: Find all solutions 0 1. 4 cos^2 angle -3=0
I got to +/- sqrt 3/2 but I'm not sure where to go from here.
2. 2 sin^2 angle - sin angle -1=0
3. (tan angle)(sin angle)+sin angle=0

Take the arc cos of +/- sqrt(3)/2
Get pi/6, 5 pi/6, 7pi/6, 11 pi/6
----------------
(2 sin x+1)(sin x-1)=0
sin x=1
sin x=-1/2
This occurs at pi/2, 7 pi/6 and 11 pi/6.
--------------------
sin x (tan x+1)=0
sin x=0 at 0 and pi
tan x=-1, at 3pi/4 and 5 pi/4
