Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 (cotx/csc-1)= (cscx+1/cotx)
-----
Cross multiply
cot^2 = csc^2 - 1
Multiply thru by sin^2
cos^2 = 1 - sin^2
I'm convinced.
