Question 1049505: Find a cubic polynomial with zeros: 2, ,
I am thinking that I need to work the problem backwards but i'm not sure where to get started. I began thinking that perhaps I need to do the following:
(x-2)
and multiply these three factors together?

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20064)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x-2)

Yes multiply them all together

It will be lots easier if you multiply the 2nd and 3rd
parentheses together first and simplify, because the
terms with square root will cancel out. Then multiply
the (x-2) by what you get.
