Let g(x) be a sinusoidal functions with a min at (3pi,5) and the next max at (5pi,8). Write an equation for g(x). State the amplitude and the period of g(x).
---------------
Period = 4pi
Amplitude = (8-5)/2 = 1.5
Vertical shift = (8+5)/2 = 6.5
--> g(x) = 1.5sin(x/2) + 6.5
