cot in terms of csc
-----
cot = cos/sin = sqrt(1 - sin^2)/sin
cot^2 = (1 - sin^2)/sin^2 = (1 - 1/csc^2)*csc^2 = csc^2 - 1
cot = sqrt(csc^2 - 1)
