Question 1036573: The temperature of a patient during an illness is given by the function below, where T is the temperature, in degrees Fahrenheit, at time t, in days, after the onset of the illness. Graph the function using a graphing calculator and use the MAXIMUM feature to find at what time the patient's temperature was highest. What was the highest temperature?
T(t)=0.5t^2+3t+98.6,0 *sign is < than equal to

I have to edit the function, for +0.5t^2 will show a continuously increasing function.

The maximum function shows a temperature of 103.1F at 3 days. This is consistent with the vertex's being -3/-1 or 3.
