Question 1036006: Simplify completely: tan^2x(1 – sin^2x)
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
tan^2x(1 – sin^2x) = tan^2(x)(cos^2(x)) but tan = sin/cos so the cosines cancel...
tan^2(x)(cos^2(x)) = sin^2(x)
