Question 1032994: tan(Arc cot-3/5-Arc sin1/3)
Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
tan(Arc cot(-3/5)-Arc sin(1/3))
tan(a - b) = [tan(a)-tan(b)]/[1-tan(a)(tan(b)]
------
tan(arccot(-3/5) = -5/3
tan(arcsin(1/3)) = 1/sqrt[3^2-1] = 1/sqrt(8)
----------------------
= [(-5/3)-(1/sqrt(8)] / [1 - (-5/3)(1/sqrt(8)]
-----------
etc.
