Answer. = 90° - 35° = 55°.

Proof

For the proof, draw a right-angled triangle with one acute angle of 35°.
Then the other acute angle is 55°.


Tangent of the angle of 35° is the ratio of the opposite leg dimension to the adjacent leg dimension.

Now compare it with the definition of the cotangent of the other acute angle, and you will get that it is the same.
