Question 1000141: If sin 0 = 0.2857, find sec 0.
Answer by fractalier(6550)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If sin q = 0.2857, find sec q.
sInce sec q = 1/cos q, let us find cos q.
cos q = sqrt(1 - sin^2 q) = sqrt (1 - .2857^2) = .9583
and sec q = 1/.9583 = 1.0435
