e.g. the smallest side of the triangle is 7cm long and the base of the triangle is 10cm long what is the perimeter of the triangle?? x
please help!!!!

Can't be done, except in the special case where the triangle is a right triangle.
The best we can say is
The third side will be no shorter than 7, and no longer than 17
