A sector has area 10.72 square meters and arclength 5.36. Find the radius
***
let s=arclength=5.36
r=radius
theta=central angle
..
s=r *theta
theta=s/r
Area of sector=1/2*r^2*theta
10.72=1/2*r^2*s/r=1/2*r*s
r=10.72/(1/2)(5.36)
r=4 m
