Question 918628: Triangles aren't my strongest subject, and this question is confusing to me
Its says Triangle ABC
AB = 9y+4
BC = 5x+20
and AC = 7y+12
Its ask what value of y is triangle ABC a regular Triangle

Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
a regular triangle is an equilateral triangle, then
AB = BC = AC
therefore
7y + 12 = 9y + 4
2y = 8
y = 4
AC = 40
BC = 40
AB = 40
The value of y is 4
