Question 910553: Triangle ABC is congruent to triangle DEF. Can you please help me find the measures of the given angles? I've tried working out the problem, but I believe my answer isn't correct for my answer I had got 13.83. The sides include AC= 7a+ 5, DF= 5a+ 9. To get my answer I did the following:
7a+ 5a+ 14= 180
12a= 166
A= 13.83

Answer by Fombitz(32388)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
If AC and DF are angles, then your sum is correct and your solution for a is correct.
But you mention that AC and DF are sides (lengths?), then the setup is incorrect.
