Question 879410: Show that the triangle with vertices (-4,-3), (√27, -√48) and (4,3) is equilateral.
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20066)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

We use the distance formula on all three sides to show
that all the sides have the same length.

Distance from (-4,-3), (√27, -√48)

-------------------------------

Distance from (-4,-3) to (4,3)

--------------------------------------

Distance from (4,3) to (√27, -√48)

All three sides are equal to 10, so the triangle is equilateral.
