You cannot tell what the measure of both sides are just given the hypotenuse.

IF the sides are of equal in length 'x'
x^2 + x^2 = (3.2)^2 |Pythagorean Theorem
2x^2 = (3.2)^2
2x^2 = 10.24
x^2 = 5.12
x = 2.26 (rounded to the nearest one-hundredth)

You need the length of one of the unknown sides.

Or, if the legs are equal (isosceles triangle) then we can do it like this (a is the length of the triangle's leg):



or 2.26 to 2 decimal places.
