Question 833162: one angle of a triangle is 82 degree .The other two angles are in the ratio 2:5 .Find the number of degrees in smallest angle of the triangle
Answer by LinnW(1048) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Since the total of the 3 angles = 180,
the remaining two angles = 180 - 82 = 98
Given a ratio of 2:5
The smaller angle will be
= 28
Since the two angles total 98 the other angle is 70 degrees.
The two angles are 28 and 70 degrees.
Notice 28/70 = 2/5 or 2:5
