Question 81938: The captain of an ocean liner at point A observes a lighthouse at point P, as shown. After travelling for 8.2 km, the captain again observes the position of the lighthouse. Using the given information determine the nearest distance of approach of the liner correct to the nearest 0.01km. Find BD.
The one angle is 23 degrees and other is 61 degrees we need to find BD.

You will have to describe the picture of this in detail in order to get someone to
help you with this. We need to know where each point is located in relation to the light-house. The direction of the ship in relation to the lighthouse would help too.
