Q:
in triangle ABC what is the degree measure of angle A?
A=x+10 degree
B=2x-20 degree
C=40 degree
-------------------------------------------------------
A:
The sum of the interior angles of any triangle is 180 degrees.
(x + 10) + (2x - 20) + 40 = 180
3x + 30 = 180
x = (180 - 30)/3
x = 50
angle A = 50 + 10 = degrees
