Question 754142: How do i find the height of a right-angled triangle, given only the lengths of the base and the hypotenuse?
Answer by Cromlix(4381) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
This is a Pythagorean question.
Think of a right angled triangle
The height size squared + the base size squared
= hypotenuse size squared
For your question:
You would square the size of the hypotenuse squared and subtract
the size of the base squared.
You would then take the square root of
your answer.
This would give you the height
Hope this helps
