if the median drawn on the base of a triangle is half its base, the triangle will be?
---
Sketch the triangle as it was described.
The median breaks the original triangle into 2 identical triangles.
The median equals the base in each of those triangles.
So each of the triangles is 45-45-90
Therefore the sum of the base angles of the original triangle is 45+45 = 90
So the vertex angle must be 90 degrees.

Answer: right triangle
