(Base1 + Base2)/2 = Median ... ie if you average the base lengths, you get the median

(4x+3 + 6x-9)/2 = 32 ... plug in the known/given info and solve for x

4x+3 + 6x-9 = 32*2

4x+3 + 6x-9 = 64

10x-6 = 64

10x = 64+6

10x = 70

x = 70/10

x = 7

Answer: x = 7
