Question 628022: If the angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:4, what type of triangle is it?
Answer by Don2xmalabag(6) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Solution:
a+b+c=180
2x+3x+4x=180
9x=180
9x/9=180/9
x=20
a=2x b=3x c=4x
a=2(20)b=3(20) c=4(20)
a=40 b=60 c=80
the angles of the triangle are 40, 60 and 80 degrees therefore the triangle is an scalene acute triangle.
