Hi
if you have a 45-90-45 triangle and you have the hypotenuse of 9√2
what is the measure of the missing leg
Isoseles Rt triangle, 2 legs of equal length
Applying the Pythagorean Theorem:
x^2 + x^2 = 162
2x^2 = 162
x^2 = 81
x = 9 (Throwing away the negative solution for unit measure)
