Answer by scott8148(6628)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let x=longest; y=shortest; z=other

"The perimeter of a triangle is 50 centimeters" ___ x + y + z = 50

"The longest side is 2 centimeters longer than twice the shortest side" ___ x = 2y + 2

"The other side is 3 centimeters shorter than the longest side" ___ z = x - 3
