You can put this solution on YOUR website! Triangles with the same base and the same height would have the same area, no matter what their shape. Here are three triangles built on the same base, with the same height.
The scalene triangle has red sides; the isosceles triangle has black sidesn and the right triangle has blue sides.
You could think of a triangle, imagine it sliced into many thin slices parallel to the base, and then move those slices horizontally to make all the other triangles with the same base and height.
Maybe you could do the experiment making your first triangle out of pieces of uncooked spaghetti laid down one next to the other parallel to the base.
